The same picture, in every company.
In more than 15 years in HR leadership roles at international companies I have seen pay structures up close. Structures grown over years. Roles defined differently in every department. Pay data spread across several systems and barely comparable.
The HR teams I worked with wanted fair pay. What was missing was the time and the tools to make it verifiable. A clean pay analysis meant either weeks of spreadsheet work or a consulting mandate of EUR 50,000 to 200,000 a year.
Why should fair pay depend on whether a company can afford expensive consulting?
